Phishing Attempts

This notice is provided as an advisory to all CSN-UK clients, attempts have been made to create duplicate (phishing) websites to that of our official site csn-uk.net. This notice is to reiterate the already present information that CSN-UK staff will never ask for any account or payment details.

You should ensure that you access your accounts utilizing https://secure.csn-uk.net (clientarea) and http://www.csn-uk.net:2082/ or http://www.yoursite.com/cpanel for cPanel. Please enter these address yourself and do not follow any links provided by suspicious emails.

The CSN-UK team are perusing those responsible for these phishing attempts and will aim to resolve this issue as soon as possible, be aware that such people have no access to any accounts, details or servers provided by CSN-UK.

Unexpected Downtime – Resolved

Our network is currently undergoing emergency alterations and maintenance to resolve an issue effecting many of our shared accounts in the process of redistribution around our shared hosting servers.

This has come as a result of a combination of factors including that of DDoS attacks directed at our network which had previously forced our site into a state of unavailability for many, thankfully this has now been resolved.

On top of this  are working as part of our maintenance  to bring the remaining effected sites online as soon as possible as well as to install additional equipment and defensive measures to ensure no further repeat of such an incident.

However as part of our commitment to both the ongoing stability of our services and that of our promises outlined to you are shared hosting clients we will be crediting all effected accounts with an additional months service and apologise greatly for any inconvenience.

This Issue has now been Resolved

Planned Datacentre Maintenance

Our network and subsequent hosted sites, including dedicated and VPS services will be unavailable between the hours of 11PM March 9th 2010 to March 10th 2010, 7AM. websites are expected to be offline for a maximum of 3 hours due to the nature of this maintenance however we will be conducting vital network updates during this period.

If you have any queries please contact our support department in advance to these dates.

Clientarea *Resolved

All Clientarea updates and improvements have been made with minimal effect to the existing layout and all of the raised issues have been resolved, we would like to thank all those who provided feedback which formed the basis for this upgrade and welcome any further suggestion.

SSL Issues * Resolved

We are currently experiencing issues with our SSL certificates validating correctly, thus the Clientarea will be made temporarily unavailable to ensure the security and integrity of the information provided via the Clientarea.
